Jocelyn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California—Berkeley, where she majored in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Public Health and Nutritional Sciences. She was a four-year D1 lacrosse player who, like many collegiate athletes, experienced multiple injuries and surgeries while playing. These injuries and subsequent rehabilitations allowed her to return to the field and sparked her interest in orthopedic recovery and wellness.
Jocelyn continued her education after working in the private sector and obtained her RN from Hagerstown Community College in 2011. She has worked in cardiac units, MedSurg floors, PACU, intraoperative, and dermatology throughout her nursing career. In 2018, she also obtained her BSN and MSN from Western Governors University, where she focused on Nursing Education. She loves working as a nurse, being one-on-one with patients, and helping others.
Jocelyn enjoys working out and learning about different recovery options to help keep her healthy and moving without pain. As a wife and mother of two, she loves spending time outdoors and playing sports with her children.
