Join Dr. Emily Priestas, DPT, of Paradigm Pelvic Health & Wellness, and Jocelyn Shannon, RN, of Structural Elements® for a free workshop, where we will discuss inflammation, hormonal health, and pelvic health issues across a woman’s lifespan. We will explore the role of various modalities, pelvic floor physical therapy, and IV therapies in optimizing your body to keep you feeling well, no matter what stage you’re going through.

Dr. Emily Priestas owns Paradigm Pelvic Health & Wellness in Hagerstown, MD. She is one of few physical therapists nationally with dual board certifications in orthopedics and pelvic health. She also holds advanced training in dry needling, pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise, and pessary management for pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Priestas is adjunct faculty at West Virginia University and Marshall University, teaching the pelvic health curriculum to 3rd-year DPT students. Dr. Priestas uses a whole-body, nervous system-centric approach to treat pelvic floor dysfunction. Over 10+ years, she has helped thousands manage pelvic pain, bladder and bowel issues, and prolapse by addressing the root cause of symptoms. She’s a mom of two, and in her spare time, she enjoys running, mat Pilates, hiking, and baking.

Jocelyn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California—Berkeley, where she majored in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Public Health and Nutritional Sciences. She was a four-year D1 lacrosse player who, like many collegiate athletes, experienced multiple injuries and surgeries while playing. These injuries and subsequent rehabilitations allowed her to return to the field and sparked her interest in orthopedic recovery and wellness. Jocelyn continued her education after working in the private sector and obtained her RN from Hagerstown Community College in 2011. She has worked in cardiac units, MedSurg floors, PACU, intraoperative, and dermatology throughout her nursing career. In 2018, she also obtained her BSN and MSN from Western Governors University, where she focused on Nursing Education. She loves working as a nurse, being one-on-one with patients, and helping others.
